Description

Carefully restored VW Bulli, valuation report is available, H number (VIN number for historical cars), there are pictures of the restoration.

The history of the red Bulli that suddenly turned blue... I was born in the sunny summer of 1969 in beautiful Florida (USA) where I spent my youth in dry weather. I am therefore not familiar with rust. In the year 2007, I was transported to Europe in a container ship, looking forward to my complete restoration. I was taken apart completely. My new owner thought that the red colour did not suit me and spontaneously decided to repaint me in light blue/white. The restoration was done with plenty of love for detail. This can be seen, among others, in the floral embroidery of the seat cushions, the foot as the accelerator pedal, and other details. Afterwards, I spent a few years in Bochum (western Germany) before I was sold again.
The children of Dr Henke wanted a large pool. Money was tight and that is why I was suddenly sold again in the year 2015 to Werder/Havel in the beautiful Havelland. Except for the general inspection or maintenance in the garage, my new owners hardly used me.
However, I had a large house I shared with a 1967 Beetle which means I was never bored. The long-time partner of the owner surprisingly passed away in 2018.
She had to leave the beautiful large house and the 1967 Beetle and I moved out of the garage. My new home became an accommodation in Kleinmachnow in the winter and the carport in Kartzow in the summer. My owner enjoyed taking me out and sleeping over more and more. I like driving along the beautiful avenues of Brandenburg and experiencing the liveliness of nature while sensing and photographing the lakes and woods of the Märkische Heide.
However, owners sometimes need to decide differently. The old 1967 Beetle is at home in Lüneburg now, and I am looking for a new home as well. This Classic Car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button.
