Description
The Jaguar XJ 6 series I appeared in September 1968 and had the well-known XK six-cylinder in-line engine with 4.2 liters of displacement with 186HP.
This model series from the upper class was the top model of the manufacturer and remained almost unchanged in design for decades.
This Jaguar is the last vehicle still designed by the brand founder Sir William Lyons himself.
This offered 1972 Jaguar XJ 6 shows up in quite well taken care of condition.
It left the factory as an EU-configurated modell as left steering with a km odometer in royal dark blue and the rare manual 4 Gear + overdrive.
The walnut dashboard shows no cracks or damages and the original steering-wheel in good condition is also with the car. Momentary a Moto Lita wheel is mounted.
The beige leather interieur shows up in well taken care of condition as well.
This Jaguar was always registered in Germany and gets now sold by the 4th owner.
In 2018 at about 75,000km were invested about 13,000€:
Bearings of the axles, engine sealed and adjusted, new headliner, electrical repaired, starter and alternator renewed, coolant hoses renewed, wheel alignment, exhaust new, paint preparation and sealing. These and other invoices for the maintenance and repairs carried out in recent years are available.
The car is accident free and in good condition. See the appraisal at the end of the picture gallery. The TÜV will be redone by the owner on request before handover.
The seller says all necessary repairings had been done, what makes this XJ6 a reliable driver.
So place your bid and drive with this rare XJ6 series I in elegant style…
