Ready for its next collector owner
Supplied new to J.D. Cousin of Scotland in October 1925, the car remained in Scotland for most of its life before being purchased by its previous owner in 1974 who kept the car until 2013 when it was acquired by our client. Fully restored many years ago by the previous owner, the car retains its original Gurney Nutting Tourer body which is very rare for cars of this era. The car is fitted with a slightly later engine from a speed model which has the SS prefix plate and is correct for the period. Finished in black over a red leather interior the car is elegant but extremely usable and is supplied with all weather equipment including the black mohair hood, tonneau cover and side screens.
The car is complete with a detailed history file dating back to the 1970s with some paperwork and records from the 1920s and importantly the car has been well maintained and requires no mechanical or body work.
This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a beautifully restored and excellently maintained 3 Litre Tourer by Gurney Nutting that has superb provenance and retains its original body and chassis which makes it an ideal candidate for concours showing or to enjoy on prestigious driving events around the world.
