No Time to Die
While the new £279,000 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera 007 Edition is merely a copy of the largely standard Ceramic Grey car Daniel Craig’s Bond will drive in No Time to Die (which is due to be released in November following its Covid-induced postponement), the counterpart Vantage is far more exciting. A tribute to the classic V8 which appeared in The Living Daylights, the Cumberland Grey Coupé boasts a range of special features ranging from the fantastic (ski rack and skis, anyone) to the faintly ridiculous (‘f holes’ from the cello on the carbon-backed seats – oh, perr-lease). Aston will build 100 Vantage 007 Editions, priced from £161,000, while a fractional number of 25 Bond-themed DBSs will see the light of day. And no, Léa Seydoux is not included with either car.
