Christened the Silver Specter Shooting Brake, this bespoke Rolls-Royce Wraith was designed by Niels van Roij in the Netherlands and constructed by the famous Belgian coachbuilder Carat Duchatelet.

We reckon the vast, V12-powered luxury coupé is very well suited to the traditional shooting brake extension. In fact, the resulting silhouette looks like the work of the factory itself, which is credit to the quality of both Niels van Roij and Carat Duchatelet’s work. Said quality is equally impressive in the generous rear hatch, which is lavishly lined with teak decking. Perhaps the best thing about the Silver Specter Shooting Brake is that it won’t remain a one-off – Carat Duchatelet has announced that it will build a further six examples, each to the exacting specifications of its new owner. As you can imagine with a project of such ilk, the possibilities when it comes to personalisation are limitless. There’s no word on pricing, as you’d expect, but as the old adage goes, ‘if you have to ask’. Would you be brave enough to put your Rolls-Royce under the knife?
