Designed by the legendary Italian design house and hand-built by 43 Milano, the Fuoriserie takes inspiration from the dawn of Pininfarina’s illustrious history – the Lancia Astura Bocca of 1936 being the main reference point. The chromed steel frame is dressed with numerous classical details, such as a walnut briar-root frame surround and matching interwoven leather for the seat and handlebars.
A modern twist
Pininfarina has partnered this vintage appearance with modern technology: a Bike+ system optimises the rider’s energy using a miniaturised electric engine, and you can charge your phone through the built-in dynamo that also powers the LED lights. Limited to 30 units (again a reference to the 1930s), the electric version starts at €9,000 while the ‘naked’, non-electric version costs €6,000. Both are available from the Pininfarina store.
