Description
"The Fiat 126 is a city car introduced in October 1972 at the Turin Motor Show as a replacement for the now legendary Fiat 500. The Fabryka Samochodów Małolitrażowych (known with acronym FSM) was a Polish car factory born from an agreement between the FSO and Fiat in the 1970s for the construction of a new model, the Polski Fiat 126p, a Polish version of the Fiat 126. For the project, a new manufacturing plant was opened in Tychy and was active between 1972 and 1991 when it was privatised, and Fiat Group took control.
A time warp, three owner from new example, this 126 is presented in blue coachwork and is a fabulous genuine example of Fiats little city car. With just 14,000 miles from new this example is described as having no rust and being incredibly original and complete. The car has benefitted from just one repaint in its life due to fading colours but now it is looking very sharp indeed. Our owner has the original car mats in the boot area and old MoT test certificates to back up the mileage, but one look at this little 126 will give any buyer confidence in its originality from new. A new clutch and four new tyres coupled with a new MoT test certificate makes this a real gem for any classic car buyer on a budget
Guide Price £5,000 - £8,000Interested parties should note that the V5 registration document for this vehicle has been misplaced and a new one has been applied for.
