About this Collectable

The Porsche 992 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is a true all-rounder, which can be enjoyed during all seasons. This Dutch 2021 example has only covered 8.100 km and is as good as new. The car is beautifully finished in Gentian Blue Metallic and equipped with the Sport Chrono package and sports exhaust.

Generation after generation, the 911 has been finetuned. The latest evolutionary step is the 992, which was first introduced in 2018. With this, Porsche has once again managed to take the proven concept to the next level.

The engine has remained the same compared to the 991 Mk2. That means the 992 is equipped with a 3.0 liter boxer engine with two turbos. Porsche has, however, given the engine some additional power. In the 992 Carrera 4S you have no less than 450 hp and 530 Nm of torque at your disposal. That is 65 hp and 80 Nm more than a regular 992 Carrera (4).

With all-wheel drive, the Carrera 4S is a sports car that can be enjoyed all year round. In the summer it is extra fun, since it is a convertible. That doesn't mean you have to make compromises during winter time. The roof consists of magnesium panels, which are both light and sturdy. This means that the soft top is actually more an ultra-light hardtop rather than a softtop.

Porsche has not tampered with the iconic design too much (why should they?), but the 992 looks more fresh and modern than its predecessor. The rear end in particular is very impressive, with the rear lights that are connected with a LED bar and the hips that are wider than ever. The interior of the 992 has also received a complete makeover. The dashboard is more modern, but at the same time the lay-out is reminiscent of the classic 911.

This specific 992 Carrera 4S is beautifully finished in the colour Gentian Blue Metallic. For a sporty touch, there are high-gloss black wheels with red brake calipers. The colour red is also reflected in the seat belts, the tachometer and the stopwatch on the dashboard. The owner really thought it through when he specced this car. Nice touches are the Exclusive Design fuel cap and the aluminum PDK selector lever.

The fact that there is a stopwatch on the dashboard means that this car is equipped with the Sport Chrono package. This includes a Launch Control function, a Sport Plus mode and dynamic engine mounts. A must have option, just like the sports exhaust, which is also fitted on this car.

With less than 8.100 km, this 911 is still as good as new. The car was delivered in March by Porsche Centrum Eindhoven in The Netherlands.

Remarks

Because of the age and the low mileage, the car is still in mint condition. There is just a tiny pit on the rear leaft rim (sdee the photos).

Service history

Because of the low mileage of the car, no maintenance has been neccessary. Official Porsche factory warranty is included till March 2023 and can be extended by the next owner.
