The Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC we present to you was delivered new on 18 February 1989 to the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Rome (via Flaminia) as attested by the "libretto de
manutenzione" or tracking booklet supplied with the car at the time of purchase which traces the history of the coupe until its 100,000 km in 2009 when it landed in the South of France. The version of the 5.6l engine sold outside of Germany is not catalyzed and therefore develops 300 horsepower which still seems to be present according to our road test; the comfort promised by the star brand is still present and users are still bluffed by the quality of the aging of the leather, plastic elements and functionality of the car; one does not feel at all the more than 200,000 kilometres that the 560 has covered nor the more than 30 years that separate us from the release of this model in the dealership. With the standard on-board computer embedded in the right side of the dashboard and an audio system packed with options and settings, the car feels very modern inside and out, despite its width and inevitable roll in corners.
With over 10 years of invoices from the current owner, the SEC is a real coup de coeur for the Osenat Automobile team as well as a clever investment of a vehicle that will surely increase in value in the future as it was so ahead of its time.
We are offering you the opportunity to acquire the top of the range 1980's Mercedes-Benz, a youngtimer that has recently become a collector's car with a vintage look and modern use.
