Description
There are moments in time when something truly special crosses our path. This is the first Range Rover registered in Austria. Finished in the iconic Bahama Gold, with original PVC palomino seats. Presented in the original condition, this early Suffix A has grown into a genuine collectors’ car and leads the charge in both rarity and price. The Suffix A was produced from 1970 to 1972. It was the reason the Range Rover became a legend. This amazing example of its original beauty is kept exactly as it rolled out of the production line in 1971. The black ashtray and the black console mat were fitted only in the very early production vehicles. This particular car is one of the first 400 cars produced! Everything is kept from its original build as much as possible. We gave it a new fresh paint job. We also kept the interior original, yes no carpets. Almost everything you see in this car is from 1971. We tried our best to not touch anything. The car comes with all its original documents, brochures and receipts from 1971! Our cars, are kept and maintained with time and investment spent for perfection. The engine and the gears are smooth and original spec suspensions are placed. The body and chassis are totally straight. Our Range Rovers are free of rust! The exterior of every vehicle we have is kept original as much as possible. Any part that needed to be changed, was changed with original parts in order to look as it did when it rolled out of production line. The interior has been preserved to the best possible state. All our vehicles that are unrestored are kept 100% original. Vehicles that have been restored, they were restored with only original Range Rover parts. We are proud of what we have done in preserving our Range Rover Classics. The love and passion we have for those cars, keep us maintaining them to the smallest detail.
The car features a 3.5-litre V8 petrol engine, which uses Zenith Stromberg carburettors to produce 132bhp at 5000rpm and 186lb ft of torque at 2500rpm. Drive is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with a lockable central differential. The car’s technical specifications are exactly as they were when it left the factory.
