Model History
This four-door saloon car was manufactured between 1928 and 1929 by the Dodge Bros. Company, known today as Dogde. The model Victory Six was introduced in 1928 for the 10th anniversary of the end of WWI. The car had a six-cylinder engine of 68 horsepower and 3-speed gearbox. On top, it was equiped with hydraulic brakes, which was a rarity for this price range. When the competition was building cars on metal composites and wood, Victory Six was a full metal body. Production ended a year later, with 30 000 cars produced.
Vechicle History
Presented at the National Stadium auction, this Dodge Brothers model is a car very meticoulsly restored. All elements used in its reconstruction, except body seals, are reproductions of 1920s materials or original parts. The engine is sound and the interior presents itself immaculately, given the fact it is based on 1920s material reproductions. The car is painted now in a shade of violet, whereas this car was likely black, back in the day.
