Externally, the Jensen FF resembled the more common Vignale styled Interceptor, but it had a four inch longer wheelbase, in addtion to the bonnet, a bonnet scoop, brushed metal roof and dual side vents. Beneath the skin, however, it was a different matter. Remarkably for a small company, Jensen scored two important automotive firsts: the FF was the first production car to employ the Ferguson four-wheel-drive system and the first to have anti-lock brakes. Audi bought an FF, drove it to destruction and finished up convinced of the merit of 4WD.
