Sediments From the private collection of a successful entrepreneur SF: For Sangiovese lovers, this is one of this variety’s centre stage players. Montevertine rose to prominence in the Chianti wine panorama in the years in which Cabernet ruled supreme and it was alone in keeping to the straight and narrow and believing exclusively in Sangiovese. Pergole Torte is the best fruit of this historic estate. A vintage which was not fabulous in Tuscany has some surprises in store. (2 bts)
