French title
The Rover 200 is a small city car produced by the late British manufacturer, between 1984 and 1999. In 1989, the second generation Rover 200 appears and is designed with the help of Honda, the Japanese manufacturer. This car is none other than the biggest commercial success of the brand with nearly 950,000 units produced, while representing a form of culmination of the association with Honda, this one initiated a few years earlier. The 214 cabriolet is the illustration of this. At first, it embarked on a double camshaft engine with 4 cylinders, 16 valves and 1.4l of displacement. It could surprise many of its contemporaries at the red light. That said, this car is ideal for a leisurely stroll along the French coast, with a surfboard in the back and hair in the wind.
The car we are presenting is in good condition. It is equipped with front disc brakes and two airbags for safety. Inside, the electric windows and the wood touch on the dashboard remind us of the British chic. The varnish of this car is unfortunately flaking, so a coat of paint is to be considered to drive with class and non-conformism in this charming little English car. As for the engine, it works normally and behaves well, even on the small and steep roads of the countryside."
