The top of the range of the 4L

If we know the basic Renault 4L, the ""Export"" or TL version is a little less known. It is however a little more luxurious version of this one. It differs from the 4L by several physical elements. Among these elements, there are chrome accessories such as the bumper and strips on the bottom of the doors as well as black bumpers. It stands out in its own way and is quite easily recognizable at 4L gatherings. Under the hood, nothing changes. It will use the different engines used on the basic 4L.
This car comes in a very nice navy blue livery (color code 417 ""Versailles Blue"") contrasting with the shiny chrome. This ""Export"" version left the factory in 1966 with the 747 cc engine with 30 horsepower. Rusty underbody, mechanical defects, floorboards with holes? It's nothing like that!
