Considered by many to be the prettiest of all 911’s the pre-1974 models have become increasingly sought after in recent years.
In the early 1970s, customers could choose between the base T (touring) with 123 PS, the mid-range E with 155 PS, and the top-of-the-line sport S with 180 PS, like the car presented here.
The complete car has been thoroughly restored. With a new and correct dashboard, new carpets and door pockets, this 911S’s interior is in true show-quality condition.
A real sweet spot in the 911 lineage, the 2.2L S models with mechanical fuel injection are considered to be among the purest driving 911’s of all.
This engine was carefully overhauled and is mated to the desirable 911/01 5-speed manual transmission.
