Description

The 3rd generation Gloria debuted in 1967, the year after Prince Motors merged with Nissan. The prototype of the second generation was said to resemble the Chevrolet Corvette, following a trend of Japanese car design being influenced by American designs.

Plated parts are used throughout, including in the bumper and molding. This and the edgy styling of the vertical tail lamp are straight out of the playbook of American cars of the 1960s. The Gloria featured another feature that can be considered rare in Japanese cars; the four vertical headlights, nicknamed “tategro”.

This particular car is the Super Deluxe Royal model, the top of the range model of the 3rd generation Gloria. The odometer displays only 14,891km. The engine is equipped with a high-octane 2L in-line 4-cylinder engine and has a maximum output of 125 horsepower. The car features power steering and power windows, making it a comfortable car for everyday use. The silver body is kept in excellent condition, and the brilliance of the plated parts have been maintained. The interior leather seats are also in good condition, without looking too worn.
