This is a beautiful 1978 MG B Roadster. The car was delivered new in the United States and has been in the Netherlands since 1998. The vehicle has been fully restored here and still looks beautiful. The car comes in a beautiful colour combination consisting of a “Carmine Red” exterior and a black leather interior. Furthermore, the vehicle is factory equipped with spoke rims and a tonneau cover. This can all be read on the Heritage certificate that comes with the vehicle. This also shows that this car still has its original engine and this is a matching numbers car.

The body of the car still looks good and was completely overhauled at the time with a great sense of originality and to a high standard. The mouldings and bumpers are also in very good condition. The car was repainted in the original colour during the restoration and the paint is still in good condition. The convertible top was also recently replaced and is in very good condition. The plastic hood fits well everywhere and is easy to operate. The car stands on the original wire wheels with good tires in the correct sizes.

The interior was reupholstered entirely during the restoration. The black carpets are in very good condition and fit nicely everywhere. The leather on the seats looks very nice and the seats were also refilled during the work. The dashboard is neatly maintained and the instruments and controls only look beautiful and function as they should. The MG was also equipped with a beautiful Mota Lita steering wheel that looks beautiful and feels great in the hand.

The technology of the MG B has already been completely overhauled. The 1.8-litre four-cylinder is mated to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The brakes and chassis are in very good condition and function exactly as they should. That the car drives wonderfully is no surprise when we look at the enormous amount of documentation that comes with the car. The car has been meticulously maintained and maintenance has been specified per year since 2007.
