Mercedes Benz 220 A Roadster from 1955. This car was fully restored in 2017 and is in sublime condition. This is a special “Tropen” version. The Benz of course has matching numbers. The original colour is Silbergrau DB 125 G which makes it extra special.

Truly everything down to the smallest detail was addressed during this restoration. From the engine, suspension, brakes and chassis to the bodywork with new paint. The insulated soft-top is new. The engine was overhauled, etc.

The car was originally supplied to Mercedes dealer Gargour & Fils in Lebanon. It is therefore the 530-187 “Tropen” version with a different cooling and different wheels among other things.

Only 1,287 units were made of this car in total and only a few in this “Tropen” version. The car has a Dutch registration and can be registered throughout Europe and in Switzerland.
