Description
"Jaguar cars today are designed in Jaguar Land Rover's engineering centres at the Whitley plant in Coventry and Gaydon in Warwickshire, whilst manufacturing takes place in Jaguar's Castle Bromwich assembly plant in Birmingham. The Jaguar XK series was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show on 5th March 1996; the first generation of the series being the XK8 which replaced the XJS and was available as a coupé and convertible. It was the first eight-cylinder vehicle produced since the Daimler 250. The XK8 came with 17” alloy wheels, leather interior, burr walnut trim and side airbags as standard.
This lovely XK8 coupé is offered in the desirable colour combination of pale blue metallic over a black leather interior. The car is sat on 20” alloy wheels and is presented in very good condition throughout. The current vendor purchased this XK8 from Guy Salmon Jaguar dealership, Stockport in 2013 and has used it mainly for leisure and weekend driving. The vendor reports that this Jaguar runs well and is a joy to drive. This three owner from new example is offered with a history file containing previous MoT test certificates, main dealer and specialist service history, maintenance records, an MoT test certificate valid until November 2021 and the current V5 registration document. This is a fabulous motorcar, in great condition and can be purchased for a modest outlay."
