Description
"Launched in 1996 the all new saloon model for Jaguar was codenamed X300. The top of the range model in the line up was the XJR. This model was the first car from the Coventry manufacturer to feature a supercharged 4.0 litre engine. The impact on sales for Jaguar was dramatic with the Midlands company enjoying one of the most successful sales periods in its history.
Originally supplied by London dealer H. R. Owen, this Jaguar XJR has been in the ownership of the vendors family from new. In addition to the already high level of standard specification this car had a number of well thought-out options added. These include driver’s memory seat with electric steering column and the upgraded Harmon Kardon stereo and CD changer. This low mileage Jaguar was subject to a Category D insurance loss in 2007. On the owners instructions the car was repaired to a very high standard. This handsome Jaguar looks well in metallic Spruce Green with Charcoal leather interior, it is offered to auction with a stamped service book and various bills and receipts, a V5C registration document and we are informed it will also have a fresh MoT test certificate. P790 MLX represents a rare opportunity to purchase a low mileage, high specification version of the model that was so important to the Jaguar company."
