Second generation of the brand's flagship, the Thunderbird (or square bird) was produced between 1958 and 1960. With an improved level of luxury and a redesigned body, the second generation T-Bird was a great success for the brand after the mixed results of its big sister in 1955. Very characteristic of the 1960s, the lines are tighter, sharper and the rear bumper has 6 lights like a jet plane.
With more than 92,000 units produced in 1960, it is the most widespread Thunderbird and remains today a symbol of the golden age of the American automobile.
Partially disassembled, our example is a 1960 Thunderbird to finish restoring. The mechanics are turned and adjusted, the interior is in new condition; it needs to be repainted.
