On April 17, 1964, Ford introduced the Ford Mustang. This new vehicle is introduced into a segment created from scratch by the automobile in the early 1960s: the Pony Car.
An unstoppable success, the Mustang emerged at a time when the United States was doing its best, the horrors of war were far away, and a new generation of young consumers was born in search of freedom and speed.
Proposed in several bodyshells, finishes and engines, the first Mustang lasted until the early 1970s when a serious correction was imposed to these powerful and greedy models: the first oil crack of 1973.
Introduced in 1971, the Mustang Mach-1 presents a bodyshell inspired by its predecessor while being modernized by new bumpers. It is equipped with a specific spoiler, a band on the hood and an air intake as well as black underbody. The interest of this Mustang is its mechanics: it is equipped with the powerful V8 351 Ci powered by carburetors that allowed the car to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 8s, a real performance.
1973 will mark the end of the Pony-Car reign but Ford continues to produce its Mustang that still exists today after a long desert crossing from the mid-1970s to the mid-2000s.
In a beautiful state of presentation, the Ford Mustang Mach 1 that we present is a 1971 model with revised mechanics. All red and black, it is the embodied aggressiveness, symbol of the muscles-car of the 1970s. Its black skay interior is in good condition, the driving position is very comfortable, the space on board is vast as is the American tradition.
The seats offer more support than on the «basic» versions of the pony-car while remaining real comfortable lounge chairs.
The last of the mohican for the original Mustang range, the Mach 1 is for lovers of muscular American and all lovers of authentic V8 made of gasoline and cast iron.
