Formerly raced in the United States under the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) regulations this car came was imported to the UK from the ‘dry state’ of Nevada in 2007 and is described by the vendor to be rust free. The car is currently built to full circuit racing specification for the Intermarque and Heritage GT Championship by specialists Dulford Automotive during 2008 and is ready to race.
The original Ford 289 (4.7 litre) V8 engine is fully balanced with forged rods, pistons, flywheel, clutch and pulleys. Headman exhaust manifolds are linked to a new free flow stainless steel exhaust system. (Additional rear silencers for road or restricted circuits are also included).
