Description

The Fiat 1300 S Coupé Vignale is a rare custom-built model produced in very few specimens, with an important role in defining the design of the Italian GTs of the 60s / 70s.
There are two characteristic elements: the rounded shape of the engine hood, which creates a high and unique belt line, linked to the passenger compartment window and the particular "closure" of the rear window, which is almost vertical.
In an interview at launch, Alfredo Vignale states that this car (like its big sister 1500 S Sportiva) is "the car that wasn't there", meaning that in those years, there was no GT on the market. medium range of equal role.
In the options available to the buyer, there was also the possibility of obtaining a more performing engine.
The interior is essentially that of the sedan, which guarantees a decent amount of space on board, considering the 2 + 2 setting of the model. The dashboard is embellished with a beautiful wooden panel, while a splendid Nardi sports steering wheel is supplied as standard.
