Description

Ferrari unveiled the 360 in 1999 to replace the outgoing F355. Hidden beneath a gorgeous new Pininfarina body was a faster, tighter, better-handling package based on a new, lighter aluminum space frame, developed in concert with Alcoa.

In 2003, Ferrari introduced the 360 Challenge Stradale which was a lighter, more purpose-built version of the 360. It featured a horsepower increase to 425 bhp, carbon ceramic brakes, improved aerodynamics, uprated semi-automatic F1 gearbox, and weight-saving measures including carbon fiber racing seats. Its stirring good looks, razor-sharp performance, and intoxicating exhaust note have led many enthusiasts to proclaim the 360 Challenge Stradale to be Ferrari’s best ever dual-purpose car.

This 2004 Challenge Stradale is finished in Rosso Corsa (Racing Red) with a red and black Alcantara interior. A CARFAX Vehicle History Report shows this 360 was sold new in Los Angeles, and while used sparingly throughout the years, has seen consistent care. It has covered less than 9,000 miles from new and has been with the consignor since 2015. While not outfitted with its tricolore (tricolor) stripe at the factory, the consignor opted to have one applied, and the removable vinyl is a factory part applied by a Ferrari dealer. Fastidiously kept in current ownership, this Ferrari benefits from a recent major service, new battery, and a full set of Pirelli P Zero tires. It is offered with books, receipts, tool kit, and car cover, and is fully prepared to demonstrate why it is considered one of Maranello’s best.
