This Ferrari 308 GT4 was first registered in France on September 23, 1976 through the importer Pozzi in the Paris region. The seller tells us that the interior upholstery was changed from black leather and fabric to sandy beige leather on all seats and the centre console which is in quite good condition; only the beige fabric roof liner needs to be refreshed and has a tear without sagging. The 2+2 coupe is in a decent aesthetic condition with original Ferrari red paintwork and numerous decorative appendages of the prancing horse brand on the car and also in the cabin as was common on this model at the time.
Once the driver's door is opened, you discover a typical 1970's cockpit with quite comfortable seats and finally more space than in a Ferrari 308 when you are tall. The most spectacular thing about this model is the meter and instrument system surrounding the Momo steering wheel, which makes you want to see the GT4's performance. Our test drive showed the engine and gearbox to be in good working order; however, we would recommend a full mechanical check-up as the car has not been driven much in recent years.
This Ferrari 308 GT4 is a very interesting car; once forgotten by the collectors, it wins back the hearts of the enthusiasts with a different line and an attractive price, a nice entry ticket to Ferrari and a car to (re-) discover.
