The Model 35 was the most popular model offered by Buick in 1912. New for the 1912 Model 35 was a sliding gear transmission which replaced the old planetary transmission. Fun fact with the Model 35 is its non-operative driver’s side door. The standard color offering for the 1912 Buick Model 35 was a dark shade of blue with wheels finished in gray.
This 1912 Buick Model 35 Touring is presented in black, with a black convertible top. The car is powered by a 165-cid, 23-hp OHV four-cylinder engine which is paired to a three-speed manual transmission. The car rides on white tires which are mounted on gray wood spoke wheels. The exterior of the car features brass appointments including the headlights, cowllights and windshield frame. This right-hand drive Buick offers front and rear seating on black button-tufted seats. The car has been frame-off restored and is eligible for Horseless Carriage Club of America (HCCA) participation.
