Description
This Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Super from 1971 is in a very good driving condition. The bodywork has been restored and blasted in the past and sprayed completely into the epoxy primer. Previously, this was a car with standing pedals, but has been converted to the usual hanging pedals. The body has recently been completely newly painted and built from the base. The interior is completely new, with new carpet, new time period bucket seats and a 1600 Super dashboard with a trip master. The wheel suspension is completely blasted and powder coated, all worn cans have been replaced and all fasteners have been recessed. The front suspension is equipped with Bilstein Yellow shock absorbers and 2.0 liter brake discs with aluminum brembo calipers. The rear suspension is equipped with Red koni shock absorbers, a differential differential with a transmission of 10/43 and remanufactured calipers. Everything is provided around with stiff gray rally springs. The brakes are overhauled or new and fitted with Goodridge brake hoses. Certainly very time period are the GB wheels with high Pirelli tires. The engine is an Alfa 75 1.8 carburetor engine, converted to be suitable for 105 series. The engine has been overhauled with new bearings, new cylinder bushings and a completely remanufactured cylinder head. Furthermore, the engine is equipped with an electronic ignition of Magnetti Marelli and a steel spaghetti manifold. The gearbox is also overhauled and everything hangs in sturdy new engine and bucket supports. In recent years, a lot of time and money has been invested in this car to make it a suitable rally or trip car, which resulted in a well-driving Giulia with all its specific characteristics. The engine has to be adjusted once again after running in. To get a good idea of the lot, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
