The Socvel factory was founded in Saint Etienne, France, by Henry Lanoy in 1951 to build motor vehicles and presented two models, united by the decidedly original aesthetics, called ‘Stefà’ I and Stefà II with different engines and displacements, 98 cc 2-stroke and 2 gears, and 125 cc 4-stroke and three gears. The model offered at auction is a Stefà 125 II series. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
