Peugeot was one of the great French companies to invest in the production of mopeds immediately after the war. In 1967, after the launch of its first model, called 101, they presented the 102, which followed the same characteristics of the competitor Mobylette, all based on the essentials, the 102 was not equipped with a variator but retained the characteristic centrifugal clutch, with primary transmission with V-belt and secondary chain. Offered in various models, the 102 MT had a telescopic fork, front drum brake and stainless steel mudguards compared to the previous version._x000D_
