Motom, in parallel with the production of the famous 48 mopeds powered by small single-cylinder 4-stroke engines, in order to keep up with its competitors, presented a 150 cc model called ‘Delfino’ at the Milan Motor Show in 1950, which followed the dictates of the time by trying to combine the characteristics of a motorbike with 15” high wheels and a certain level of stability with those of a scooter and therefore comfort and versatility, such as footrests. It was equipped with a single tubular beam frame, front suspension with connecting rods and coil springs and rear suspension with swingarm, a 163 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine with two overhead valves controlled by rods and rockers, forced cooling by means of a fan and 4-speed gearbox controlled by a double lever located inside the left footrest. First series. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
