Motom began production of the famous 48 series of 4-stroke mopeds in 1948. Simple, inexpensive and robust mopeds, everything needed to get the nation moving at a reasonable cost. The 48 LL model, also known as Superelle’, had the classic single-beam frame made of pressed sheet metal but was equipped with a telescopic fork. The engine was the classic 48 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine with overhead valves, and a power of 2.2 HP, a three-speed gearbox with handlebar and wire control. Painted in classic Motom green. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
