Original grand prix bike had a fantastic history and its history is absolutely clear , it was bought by its unique

owner in January 1999 directly to Team GIO CA MOTO , the brother-in-law of the latter working in the Ducati racing team as

tele-driller.

He could not recover the bike just after the last grand prix because Gasolio had had an engine problem before the end of the last

race , he understands the price and recovers the bike a year later with a completely redone engine , The 748 will only do a few laps of

circuit during all these years, it will also be exhibited at the Ducati Museum for several years as the world champion motorcycle in

1997.

Cette moto originale GP à une histoire fantastique et  absolument limpide , elle à été achetée par son unique propriétaire en janvier 1999 directement au Team GIO CA MOTO ou le beaux frère de celui ci travaillait dans le Ducati racing team en tant que télé-mètreur . 
 Il n a pu récupérer la moto juste après le dernier grand prix car Gasolio avait eu un problème moteur avant la fin de la dernière  épreuve , il s entend sur le prix et récupère la moto un an après avec un moteur entièrement refait à neuf , La 748 ne fera que quelques tours de circuit en démonstration durant toutes ces années , elle sera mème exposée au musée Ducati pendant plusieurs années comme la moto championne du Monde en 1997.
