Description
- DBD34 GS 4921 engine was dispatched from the factory in a CB32 9000 series frame in ‘Full Clubman Trim’ including an RR.T2 gearbox
- Supplied to W. Howard in Sheldon on 09/12/1959 unregistered as it was going to be raced
- Following crash damage in the ‘60s, replacement frame No: CB32 22301 was obtained and all the original components were transferred to that frame
- Rebuilt in 1967. The registration number KRY 197E was issued, but not picked up
- The previous owner successfully applied for an older plate: 665 UXT, but the 1967 plate is probably still available
- The engine was rebuilt by ‘Mr Gold Star’ Phil Pearson in 2005/2006. Limited miles since
- The belt primary clutch was fitted in 2008 by Mark Newman – a local restorer.
- In good running order and superbly detailed and presented
- Really lovely and a true motorcycling icon
