Description

"Engine number: PS 263
Frame number: E9 3181
French title
Ariel was an English cycle manufacturer who produced motorbikes from 1901 to 1970, although it was bought by BSA in 1944. The British manufacturer was one of the last to introduce rear suspension in its production, thinking that rigid frames would always be the most efficient. But the prototype HS5 (later MK1) was born in 1952, before a serial production in 1954.
Our model is in good condition, with a nice patina. The red leather seat is slightly worn but has no scratches or holes. The aluminum parts are also in good condition. The bike seems to be complete, as well as the engine, which only needs an overhaul to be back on the road. Trust this swingarm to take you over the bumps and holes."
