Fighting the stereotype 

In addition to Alonso’s wonderful IWC and Franck Muller watches, his beautifully minimalist home, sharp style and Porsche 356 Cabriolet are vastly different to the garish displays of decadence more commonly associated with players of the sport. We all fondly recall gentleman racers of the past such as Jim Clark and John Surtees – do we now have our first true gentleman footballer?
