Take its forthcoming ‘International Design’ sale, in which there are many interesting pieces that don’t require a fortune to obtain. There are two early Weissenhof armchairs, estimated at 3,000 euros each, as well as a matching desk by Marcel Breuer, estimated to fetch 8,500 euros. An extremely rare and elegant armchair from 1931 by Erich Dieckmann is up for grabs for a moderate 4,500-6,000 euros, while our editors would all happily settle into the PLR easychairs designed by Ross Franklin Littell – introduced in 1968, they’re estimated at 3,000-4,000 euros.
