Whenever we talk about creative role models at Classic Driver, we almost always settle on Paul Smith. As a fashion designer, "Sir Paul", who actually wanted to be a racing cyclist as a boy, has been developing his very own style since the late 1970s, making British men's fashion flourish - and making colorful patterns and ornaments in offices, socially acceptable worldwide. As a product designer, Paul Smith also delivers pastel-colored optimism with his playful creations - regardless of whether he is transforming a Leica camera or a Landy into a total work of art. But what we really love is Paul Smith the collector: The childlike enthusiasm and the eclectic style with which he combines vintage racing bikes, Japanese toy figures and countless illustrated books into myriad desirable objects serves us again and again as inspiration. We are particularly pleased to be able to offer some of our favorite objects from Paul Smith's creative chambers of curiosities in the Classic Driver Shop. Have fun browsing.
