After our big reveal of the exciting new Project Rekall – part of Maserati’s new think tank Fuoriserie – we thought we should chat with Carlo Ludovico Borromeo, the leading designer behind the restomod project, and see what makes him tick.Carlo began his career in 2002 at the Seat Style Center in Barcelona, before going on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Product Design at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Upon his return to Italy, he further broadened his knowledge at Italdesign Giugiaro in Turin. You will know him for his amazing work on the Delta Futurista by Automobili Amos. Currently Carlo runs his own Studio BorromeodeSilva and is Creative Director at Garage Italia, where he designed the acclaimed Icon-e restomods, the Spiaggina and the Panda 4x4. Carlo has also worked on electric boats with Vita Yachts and his own project, Superfluid. We are very happy to welcome Carlo Borromeo to Classic Driver Live this week. Follow us on Instagram and tune in on November 24th at 7pm CET. Alternatively watch the recording afterwards on our IGTV channel or in this article.
