Ferrari through the years
Hosted by the Cars Collection of the H.S.H the Prince of Monaco and opened back in December with a ceremony attended by Prince Albert II and Ferrari legends past and present including Jean Alesi and Charles Leclerc, the exhibition comprises 50-odd cars that helped to forge the Prancing Horse’s legend. The collection was curated with the help of two Classic Driver dealers – Monaco-based DPM Motors and GTC Guikas from near Marseille – and traces the long and illustrious history of Ferrari, both on the track and the street. Standout cars for us include the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, 1965 Ferrari 250 LM, 1970 Ferrari 512 S, and the 1989 Ferrari Formula 1 car in which Nigel Mansell won in Brazil and Hungary. If you want to catch the extraordinary selection, you best be quick – the exhibition will close on 15 March 2019.
