There are more than just Porsches from RM Sotheby’s in the Sunshine State…

RM Sotheby’s has been the purveyor of Porsche pandemonium for the past two years, and its upcoming Amelia Island sale, taking place on 9 March, is perpetuating the trend. But that’s not all — there are plenty of other cars on the roster also causing a commotion…

Beyond Porkers

Fanning the flames of the modern Porsche pandemic earlier this year, RM Sotheby’s announced the inclusion of an extraordinary collection of 11 limited-production Porsches in its Amelia Island auction. But there’s more to the sale than these Stuttgart stunners. Just take the headliner car for example — a gorgeous long-nose, torque-tube 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB (est. 2.2–2.5m US dollars). Another Italian stallion stealing the Porsches’ thunder will be the 1961 Maserati 3500 GT Coupé Speciale (550,000–700,000 US dollars), while at the lower end, the 1993 Aston Martin Virage Volante ‘Wide Body’ (100,000 – 125,000 US dollars) is giving the 964s a run for their money.
