RM Sotheby’s strikes while the iron is hot with collection of 42 Porsches

RM Sotheby’s strikes while the iron is hot with collection of 42 Porsches

‘Strike while the iron is hot’ as the old saying goes – amid stronger demand than ever for so-called ‘youngtimer’ Porsches, RM Sotheby’s has consigned a Swiss collection of 42 cars that it will offer at no reserve…

A sought-after selection

While the collection – which encompasses both older and younger Porsches – will be sold at a number of different RM sales around the world, each car is offered with no reserve price. Thirteen cars from the 42-strong collection will cross the block at the Paris sale on 8 February 2017, including a 1994 911 Turbo S 3.6 (est. 650,000-750,000 euros), a 1988 959 Sport (1.5-2m euros), a 2004 GT3 RS (200,000-250,000 euros) and a 2004 GT2 Clubsport (175,000-225,000 euros).
