Taking place on 4 September – halfway through the Salon Privé extravaganza, now in its ninth year – the auction has a lotlist to rival even the most hotly anticipated concours classes. Headline cars include several from the ‘Stradale Collection’: a ‘Blower’ Bentley, an original Ferrari ‘Daytona’ Spider and one of 17 Aston Martin DB6 MkII Volantes made with a manual gearbox. Beyond that, there’s a Ferrari 250 GT Lusso, a Bentley R-Type Continental and Range Rover chassis 001. But there are temptations at more modest money, too – take the freshly restored Willys Jeep and accompanying trailer unit.
