From showroom to racetrack
Formed in 1981, Belgian dealer Gipimotor has since established itself as a specialist in classic and modern sports cars, with a particular focus on those wearing the Prancing Horse emblem. Restorations, services and sales are the company’s main activities, but it also has a strong presence at the major historic events: last weekend, the Le Mans Classic 2014 saw a Ford GT40, a Porsche 911 2.7 RS and two significant Ferraris in the custody of Managing Director Christophe Van Riet and Sales Director Kristoffer Cartenian.
Setting the scene
Shortly before the trip to Le Mans, Gipimotor held a celebration event for one of those important Ferraris, namely the 275 GTB. It was one of 18 examples amassed at the company’s Belgian headquarters for the event, with two more ‘themed’ gatherings planned to take place at Gipimotor HQ this year. Looking through the images from this one, it seems the company certainly knows how to set the scene.
