Fuori Concorso is going global. Following its first two events on Lake Como and in Milan last year, the much-hyped Italian collector car event is heading to the USA for a classic Californian road trip. Naturally, there’s a twist: only cars painted white, the signature shade of West Coast car culture, are permitted to join. Starting in the famous Hollywood getaway and modernist mecca of Palm Springs on 21 February, participants will take a scenic detour through the cinematic landscapes of Joshua Tree National Park before spearing west towards Los Angeles. If you happen to be in Palm Springs for Modernism Week, you’ll be able to see all the Fuori Concorso cars lined up in front of the Parker Palm Springs Hotel on 21 February from eight o’clock until 10 o’clock in the morning.
