Ferrari threw a record-breaking party for the Dino’s 50th anniversary

Last weekend, over 150 Dino ‘Ferraris’ from around the world descended on Maranello to celebrate the model’s (belated) 50th anniversary…

Technically, the Dino was ‘officially’ launched 51 years ago, at the 1967 Frankfurt Motor Show, but Ferrari was a bit busy last year throwing itself a year-long 70th birthday party, so the much-loved six-cylinder model’s anniversary celebrations had to be put on hold. Apparently, the Dino made its road debut in 1968, though, so all was not lost. Over 150 Dinos flocked to Maranello last weekend, visiting the Museum before heading to Fiorano for an impressive photo call.
