The Concours’ familiar formula of gathering ‘sixty of the world’s finest cars’ will see the automotive troupe take over the Royal castle’s Inner Quadrangle – an area usually off-limits to the public – with express permission from The Queen herself. In return, the organisers will hold several themed displays, including a selection of cars produced in 1926 (Her Majesty’s birth-year), along with those that have proved revolutionary across the nine decades since. In total, almost 1,000 cars will be on display during the course of the weekend, with the Club Trophy, Jaguar Trophy and Bentley Trophy of Elegance pulling together 90 cars each. Tickets for the event, to be held 2-4 September 2016, are on sale now; Classic Driver readers can purchase early-bird tickets for a limited time by following this link to the official website.
