Blancpain Endurance Series: Supercar showroom

This might be a ferociously competitive race series, but it’s also little short of an on-track supercar showroom.

From Monza to Silverstone, Paul Ricard to Spa-Francorchamps, and the Nürburgring to Navarra, the field of GT3 and GT4 cars has included race versions of the Audi R8, BMW Z4, McLaren MP4-12C, Ferrari 458 Italia, Jaguar XK-R, Mercedes SLS AMG, Porsche 997, Lamborghini Gallardo LP600 and the Nissan GT-R, all battling out in some of the fiercest racing in Europe. Arguably the highlight of the season was the 24 Hours of Spa (which saw a staggering 62 GT3 teams at the start of the famous endurance event). The Audis proved dominant – but it was good to see BMW Z4s fill the third and fourth places at the finish.
