Der Chronograph mit dem Handaufzug Landeron 189 ist in einem getragenen aber authentischen und unpolierten Zustand. Elegante Optik mit einem gleichfarbigen Register und Datum auf 9 Uhr. Zifferblatt weist leichte Altersspuren auf. Heuer signierte Krone und Tritiumzifferblatt. Mit schwarzem Lederarmband und originaler Heuerschliesse.

Die Heuer Carrera ist einer der bekanntesten Sportchronographen der Uhrengeschichte. Einer der bedeutendsten Rennfahrer seiner Zeit, Manuel Fangio, war damals Partner der Marke Heuer und trug die Uhr während seiner Formel-1-Weltmeisterschaft. Um für diese Zwecke die Ablesbarkeit der Anzeigen zu optimieren, wurde der Armierungsring im gewölbten Plexiglas mit einer Fünftel Sekunden Skala versehen. Jack W. Heuer widmete die Uhr dem damals gefährlichsten Straßenrennen der Welt "Carrera Panamericana Mexico", das von Manuel Fangio gewonnen wurde.

Very rare and sought-after Heuer Carrera 45 Dato chronograph with the reference 3147S from the year 1969. The chronograph with the hand winding movement Landeron 189 is in worn but unpolished and authentic condition. Dial shows slight signs of age. Elegant look with a silver colored register and date at 9 o’clock. Heuer signed crown and tritium dial. With black leather strap and original Heuer buckle.

The Heuer Carrera is one of the most famous sports chronographs in watch history. One of the most important racing drivers of his time, Manuel Fangio, was a partner of the Heuer brand at the time and wore the watch during his Formula 1 World Championship. In order to optimize the readability of the displays for these purposes, the reinforcement ring in the curved plexiglas was provided with a fifth of a second scale. Jack W. Heuer dedicated the watch to the then most dangerous road race in the world "Carrera Panamericana Mexico", which was won by Manuel Fangio.
